How to Stop Random Pop Ups

By Chad Buleen

Although pop-ups may seem to appear on your computer screen randomly, the truth is that these items are often associated with the Web pages that you open. For example, if you open a website that includes recipes, the website you visit might contract with a retailer to display a pop-up that promotes a certain kind of oven or mixer. Luckily, if you become annoyed by the pop-ups most Web browsers allow you to stop them from appearing.
