Since its launch in 2004, Facebook has made several changes to make the site more user friendly and added new features to keep up with requests from the over 600 million people worldwide who use the site. One of the features is the ability to tag a page in a wall post or status update, which allows anyone reading the post to click on the tab and be taken right to that page.
Log into your Facebook account.
Enter the "@" symbol, followed by the name of the person or page you want to mention or tag in your status update or wall post. Do this for each person or page you want to tag in the post.
Click the "Share" button. The tagged page will appear in blue in the status, turning it into a hyperlink. The status will also appear on the tagged profile's wall if the privacy settings allow it.
