How to Text a Cricket Phone From Email
Using your email to send a text message is a convenient way to communicate with someone who is away from a computer. Most cellular phones have the capability to receive pictures, multimedia and documents, making it possible to work away from a computer. Composing a text message from your email account is similar to composing an email message.
Compose the text as you would compose an email. Enter a message in the "Message" field and a subject line in the "Subject" field. Be aware that the recipient's phone may have a limit of 160 characters for all messages.
Enter the recipient's phone number in the "To" field. Enter "@mms.mycricket.com" after the phone number. For example, if the recipient's phone number is 555-678-1234, the recipient's phone email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Press the "Send" button. The message is converted to a text-message format and sent to the recipient's phone.
