How to Three-Way Conference on an iPhone

By Lara Webster

The iPhone has traditionally come out with the advent of a new software at least once a year, adding new features each time. One of the features of the iPhone is the ability to talk to multiple contacts simultaneously. Conference-calling between three or more callers can be accomplished by following a few short steps.

Step 1

Make the phone call to your first contact.

Step 2

Move the receiver away from your ear and tap on the "Add Call" icon on your iPhone. Dial the second contact. Your first call will be placed on hold while you reach your second contact.

Step 3

Tap "Merge Calls" on your iPhone. The calls will be joined, and everyone should be able to communicate at the same time.

Tips & Warnings

  • To add an incoming call to a conference call, answer the call and then tap on "Merge Calls."
