By Kefa Olang

JavaScript void is a web browser error that usually appears when the browser is running into problems loading the JavaScripts on web pages. It is an error that can be caused by different factors ranging from pop-up blockers to server errors. It can also be caused by a corrupt Java application. You can resolve JavaScript void errors and improve display on websites using your web browser with some simple guidelines.

Step 1

Disable the pop-up blocker on your web browser. How to disable it varies depending on the web browser you are using, but it generally can be found in the "Tools" or "Internet Options" console. The pop-up blocker in many instances disables JavaScripting. If that does not work, your Java application may be corrupt. Move to the next step to uninstall and reinstall the application.

Step 2

Click the Windows "Start" button and click the "Control Panel."

Step 3

Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" to open the programs window. Scroll through and click "Java." Click "Change/Remove" to uninstall it from your computer. If there are other Java versions in the programs window, uninstall them as well.

Step 4

Go to the Java download page and click "Free Java Download."

Step 5

Click "Save" and download the installation file on your computer. Double-click the Java installation file after it has been downloaded and click "Run." Click "Install" to install the program on your computer.
