How to Unblock the Proxy
Many institutions, schools, libraries and homes use proxy filters to block different types of websites. Usually, websites are blocked for reasons like having too much traffic, taking too much bandwidth or because the content displayed in the website is inappropriate. On the other hand, it is also common for proxy filtering software to block websites that offer good and relevant content, preventing users from accessing important Web pages. Fortunately, there are several easy ways to unblock proxies on an operating system with proxy filters.
Unblocking a Proxy Using Vtunnel
Open Firefox or Explorer or any Internet browser you have and go to Vtunnel’s website (see Resources). Vtunnel is a secured and free website that lets you look into the Internet, unblocking proxy filters and IP-based filters.
Type the URL the proxy filter is blocking. Type this in the box on the mid-upper part of the screen and where you can find “Enter a URL below to browse the internet securely!” The URL can be in formats such as "blockedsite.com" or "https://www.blockedsite.com."
Select “Begin browsing” below the box and wait for Vtunnel to redirect to the page that you want to look into.
Unblocking a Proxy Using KProxy
Open any Internet browser you have and go to the KProxy website (see Resources). Since 2005, this website has been utilized by a lot of users, especially with Facebook.
Type the URL of the website that’s being filtered by a proxy in the box right next to “Surf!” The URL can be in formats like “blockedsite.com” or "https://www.blockedsite.com."
Click on “Surf!” and KProxy will redirect you to the website you want. You will be able to look into the content you want.
Unblocking a Proxy Using VectroProxy
Open any Internet browser and go to the VectorProxy website. VectorProxy can let you surf the Net worry free, unblocking any proxy blocking filters. It’s fast and it’s free.
Type the Web page URL that can’t be retrieved because of proxy filtering. Type the URL in the box on the center of your screen below where it says “Enter the Web Address:” The URL should be type in these formats: "blockedsite.com" or "https://www.blockedsite.com."
Select the “Browse” tab at the right side of the blank box. VectorProxy will redirect you to the website you want to access.
