How to Uninstall RealPlayer Downloader

RealPlayer Downloader is free software that lets users download video clips compressed in the RealMedia file format. Most online video content providers now use a different system to encode video files, so you might decide that you no longer want to keep RealPlayer Downloader on your computer. To remove RealPlayer Downloader from your system, use the "Uninstall" tool in the computer's Control Panel.

Step 1

Click "Start," select "Control Panel" and click "Programs."

Step 2

Click the "Uninstall a Program" link and wait for the full list of installed programs to populate in the "Uninstall or Change a Program" window.

Step 3

Click "RealPlayer Downloader" from the alphabetical list of programs.

Step 4

Click the "Uninstall" button. Click "Yes" when prompted to confirm that you want to uninstall the program. Windows displays a progress bar during the uninstallation procedure.

  • Close RealPlayer Downloader on your computer before uninstalling the program.
