Print Screen is a function that anyone can use to capture what they see on their computer monitor. Using the Print Screen function, you can copy everything you see on your desktop or in an active window. The feature is often used to capture images that cannot be downloaded.
Press the "Print Screen" or "PrtScn" (or something similar) button. It's usually located near the F11 or F12 keys, or above the number keys, on the keyboard. This will capture all the contents on your screen.
Press "Alt" and "Print Screen" or "PrtScn" to capture only an active window.
Click "Start," "All Programs," "Accessories" and "Paint." Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the screen capture into the Paint program. Click the "Paint" button and click "Save" to save your screen capture. You can also re-size the image in Paint.
