VLC Media Player is an open-source player published by the VideoLAN Project based in Paris. It has become one of the most popular media players in recent times because of its functionality and price. VLC Media player is able to play far more file formats than any other player and costs absolutely nothing to download and install. Furthermore, it gives the user extensive controls over the media being played, one of which is the ability of repair videos.
Open the video file using VLC Media Player.
The program will display a prompt asking whether the damaged file should be repaired. Select "Repair."
The program will take a few minutes to repair the file and show the progress on the screen.
