How to View IE8 History

By Leigh Thompson

Internet Explorer 8 is the free Web browser distributed by Microsoft. Internet Explorer stores all the website traffic in the browser history. This information is presented in a list under your "Favorites" toolbar. The "History" list is useful for locating websites when you forgot the website address, or Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Browser history also helps monitor your children's Internet activity by showing the websites that your children are visiting. This is also true for your employees or other computer users.

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer 8 on your computer.

Step 2

Click "Favorites" on the Favorites toolbar. Select the "History" tab.

Step 3

Use the shortcut keys "Ctrl" and "H."

Tips & Warnings
