How to View Pictures From a CD

By Cassie Skelley

You can transfer the pictures that you take on your digital camera to a CD. By transferring the pictures to a CD, you can reuse the camera's memory card as well as save room on your computer's hard drive by storing the photos on an external storage device; you will still be able to access the photos when needed. Viewing the pictures stored on a CD is as easy as inserting the CD into the computer. The computer will either automatically open the CD to access the pictures or you can manually access the CD to view the pictures.

Step 1

Insert the CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive.
