The HP Pavilion ze4300 is a notebook computer produced by Hewlett-Packard. The notebook was available in a number of configurations, largely depending on the central processing unit, display, video adapter and the pre-installed operating system. The laptop received positive reviews, though there were some complaints about the battery life of the computer.

The CPU of the HP Pavilion ze4300 came in different configurations. There were three kinds of processors installed in the laptop: Mobile Intel Pentium 4-M working at speeds of 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.4 gigahertz; Intel Celeron with speeds of 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2 GHz; and AMD Athlon at speeds of 1.47, 1.53, 1.67, 1.8, 1.87 and 2.0 GHz.
The computer was pre-installed with at least 128 megabytes of SDRAM. The maximum memory capacity of the HP Pavilion ze4300 is 1 gigabyte.
The HP Pavilion ze4300 came with either a 15.0-inch XGA display with a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, a 15-inch SXGA+ display with a 1400 by 1050 pixel resolution, or a 14.1-inch XGA display with a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. All displays were based on the active-matrix TFT technology.
OS and Power
The computer came with either the Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home operating system. The laptop had four power states: On, Standby, Hibernate and Off.
The HP Pavilion ze4300 was equipped with all the necessary ports one would expect from a laptop. It had two USB ports, one parallel port, one serial port, one PS/2 or keyboard port, one RJ45 and one RJ11 port, a microphone-in and audio-out port and one S-video TV-out port.
The HP Pavilion ze4300 weighs 6.7 pounds. The notebook measures 12.95 inches wide, 10.71 inches tall and 1.61 inches deep. It comes with an eight-cell lithium-Ion battery.
