A blank page that will not delete contains formatting that is not visible. Because there is formatting on the page, Word does not see the page as being blank, even though it appears to be blank when you look at it. This problem often occurs at the end of a document, because you forget that you have added formatting, such as extra returns, to the document.
Click the “Home” tab on the ribbon.
Go to the “Paragraph” group and click the “Paragraph Markers” icon. It is the icon in the lower-right position within the group.
Double-click the “Page Break” line that precedes the blank page to select it. Press the “Delete” key to delete the blank page.
