Is There a Way to Get More Than 15 Posts on a Tumblr?

The blogging site Tumblr is a social media outlet that allows users to interact with each other through several different mediums. Users design their own blogs and can set up their own preferences. Tumblr users share audio, video, photos and text in their Tumblr blogs and are able to share items that others have created. Be able to scroll through more than 15 posts on Tumblr though the Dashboard or through your own Tumblr blog.

Dashboard

Step 1

Go to your Tumblr Dashboard.

Step 2

Click on the gear icon, located in the top right-hand corner.

Step 3

Scroll down under "Preferences" until you see "Dashboard."

Step 4

Check the box next to "Enable endless scrolling."

Step 5

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes" at the bottom left-hand corner. Now when you scroll through your Dashboard, you won't have to click through pages.

On Your Blog

Step 1

Go to your Tumblr Dashboard.

Step 2

Click on the gear icon, located in the top right-hand corner.

Step 3

Click "Customize Your Blog," which is located directly under the gear icon. A new window will appear with a sample theme of your blog.

Step 4

Click "Info" at the top, left-hand corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.

Step 5

Go to the "Description" box and paste the code:at the bottom of the box.

Step 6

Delete each set of quotation marks one at a time in the code and retype each one in its same spot. The code will be the same but the quotations marks have to be retyped within Tumblr.

Step 7

Click "Save+Close" at the top, right-hand corner of the page. Your blog should now have infinite scrolling.

Through HTML

Step 1

Go to your Tumblr Dashboard.

Step 2

Click on the gear icon, located in the top right-hand corner.

Step 3

Click "Customize Your Blog," which is located directly under the gear icon. A new window will appear with a sample theme of your blog.

Step 4

Click "Theme" located at the top, left-hand corner. A drop-down window will appear.

Step 5

Click "Use custom HTML" located at the bottom of the drop-down menu. A window with HTML code will appear.

Step 6

Insert the code:directly above the code:

.

Step 7

Delete each of the quotation marks in the code one at a time and retype each into its same spot. The code will be the same but the quotations need to be retyped on the HTML page. Click "Update preview" at the bottom right hand corner to check the status of the theme.

Step 8

Click "Save+Close" at the top right hand corner to save changes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some Tumblr themes won't allow you to put in infinite scrolling on your blog.
