16 Superpowered Gifts for the Superhero Obsessed

We’ve come to save the day—or at least save you the stress of shopping for your favorite superhero fan.

By Rachel Cericola

We all love superheroes. It's probably because they have cool outfits, amazing powers, and the ability to take down bad guys in a matter of seconds. They're also the inspiration for a lot of really cool gear, perfect for any superfan on your holiday shopping list.

While you probably won't be able to get loved ones a Mjölnir or an invisible jet, you can give them one of these 16 superhero-themed gifts.

1. Captain America Shield Waffle Maker

Ask not what your waffle maker can do for you, but what you can do for your waffle maker. Photo: Amazon.

It’s not crazy high-tech, but Steve Rogers would approve of this waffle maker ($24.99). Designed to channel the power of Captain America into breakfast time, this kitchen crusader can make 7-inch Belgian waffles in the shape of Cap’s famous shield. It also has two non-stick cook plates so you won’t need superhero-style strength to wrestle breakfast out of the pan. Forget a breakfast of champions; this can make one fit for a superhero.

2. Wonder Woman LEGO Clock

It’s not very high-tech, but this alarm clock can give you the power to be on time. The Wonder Women LEGO Clock ($19.99) is also one of the few tech-related items with the Amazon princess on it. The battery-operated 10-inch clock features a digital LED screen, as well as snooze and backlight functions.

3. Netflix

A gift card may seem a little impersonal, but this streaming service is a veritabile breeding ground for a slew of awesome superhero-themed TV shows. Netflix gift cards start at $25, good for two full months of service. That’s more than enough time to binge on Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Justice League, The Flash, Supergirl, and so much more.

However, it doesn’t just serve as a trophy, but also packs in the power of Bluetooth to stream music wirelessly from almost any portable device.

The actual disc only has Episode One of the five-episode arc for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4 users. The other four are part of the purchase price, but only available via download—as they become available. Designed by the creators of The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series, this dark (and, warning: often violent) adventure allows you to assume the role of both Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Even better, it has Bluetooth support, so it can be easily paired with any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
