What Phones Can Be Used With Straight Talk?

Straight Talk is a prepaid cellular service offered exclusively at Walmart. The three-step process to set up service involves selecting a phone, receiving a phone number or selecting a new phone number and activating the phone. Straight Talk features wireless plans starting as low as $30 per month, as of March 2011. With more than 15 phones available, Straight Talk customers have the ability to choose a device based upon personal preference.


Samsung T404G, T401G and R451C are side-slide phones featuring Internet services, a video recorder, camera, MP3 player, full QWERTY keyboard and Bluetooth capabilities. Purchase of an SD card is required. The R335C features Internet applications, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities and MMS messaging. The R810C is a touch-screen phone featuring a 2.0 megapixel camera, Internet applications, Bluetooth capabilities and an MP3 player. Additional features include downloadable graphics and ringtones.


LG offers a line of traditional, flip and smartphones. The LG200 features a hands-free speaker, caller ID and call waiting. Features of the LG100C include downloadable graphics and ringtones, text messaging, caller ID and a hands-free speaker. The LG220C features Bluetooth capabilities, a voice recorder and downloadable graphics and ringtones. The LG290C is a slider phone featuring Bluetooth capabilities, text and picture messaging, voice dialing, Internet applications and a hands-free speaker. Features of the LG620G slider phone include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities, FM radio, MP3 player and downloadable graphics and ringtones. The two flip phones offered include the LG231C and the LG420G. Both feature Bluetooth capabilities, a VGA camera, Internet applications and MMS messaging. The LG900G is a smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth capabilities, mobile browsing, a 2.0 megapixel camera and video recorder.


The line of Nokia phones offered through Straight Talk includes the Nokia E71 and the Nokia 6790. The Nokia E71 is a smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera and mobile Internet services. Additional features include a voice recorder, FM radio, MP3 player, Bluetooth capabilities and 3G network. The Nokia 3790 features voice-guided navigation, a 2.0 megapixel camera, video recorder, slider QWERTY keyboard and 3G network. Additional features include an MP3 player, FM radio, Internet applications and a voice recorder. Both Nokia phones are equipped with microSD cards.


Straight Talk offers two Motorola phones as a part of its service. The Motorola W385 features an alarm clock, mobile Internet applications, hands-free speaker, Bluetooth capabilities and a camera. Accessories include the battery and an AC adapter. The Motorola V3a Razor features a VGA camera, video recorder, Bluetooth capabilities and a hands-free speaker. Ringtones and graphics are downloadable to the Motorola V3a.
