PROS

  • The iPod nano supports Bluetooth, so you can use wireless headphones and heart rate monitors.
  • It's small size makes it easy to carry, and it has a bright multi-touch screen.
  • It is available in a rainbow of colors: blue, silver, gold, space grey, pink and red.

CONS

  • It's pretty pricey for what you get.
  • It's not compatible with Spotify or Apple Music streaming services.
  • There's no camera.
The 2015 Apple iPod nano is the same device as the 2012 nano, but now it comes in gold, silver, blue, pink, space gray and red. It is packed with the same 16GB of memory, 2.5-inch multi-touch screen, USB cable, earbuds, and Bluetooth-only connectivity as its predecessor. The super-light iPod nano with its built-in Nike fitness app and pedometer is a good choice for runners. The Apple VoiceOver feature speaks song titles and artist names, and reads the onscreen menus for eyes-free operation. The built-in FM radio gives you old-school streaming, but the iPod nano isn’t compatible with Spotify or Apple Music.

The Nano has seen some radical design changes over the years. This time around, Apple has fashioned it to look and behave like a tiny iPod Touch. It has a 2.5-inch touch screen, complete with a small home button beneath it and a volume rocker switch on the left edge.
