  • It's a workhorse.
  • The camera and its dual-lens feature are fun.

CONS

The smartphone industry has seen a series of changes, most notably around the capabilities of $400 devices. Huawei's Honor 8 is yet another phone offering flagship-caliber specs and performance for a fraction of the price of top-of-the-line Samsung Galaxy devices. Combine its 5.2-inch display with an extra rear-facing camera for fun depth-of-field photo effects, and you may just find yourself wanting this phone.

While it doesn't have the highest resolution display, it looks the same as the high res smartphones to my eyes.

I don’t like EMUI 4.1… at all. I realize the interface has its fans, and more power to you if you enjoy Huawei’s take on Android.

The 3000 mAh battery is a completely standard and expected capacity for this size of phone, and it's capable of offering really solid battery life as well.
