PROS

LG's newest 4K OLED TV benefits from having a flat--not curved--screen.
The 55EF9500 OLED TV support High Dynamic Range images, both streamed and via HDMI.
This TV delivers pitch-black shadows and punchy highlights, and the impressive light output makes it a good option for both dim and well-lit rooms.

CONS

Screen uniformity is an area where LG's otherwise perfect OLEDs could stand some improvement.
Three HDMI inputs aren't enough, especially for a TV in this price range.
LG's OLEDs are expensive compared with their LCD TV competition.

With 4K and High Dynamic Range capability and a flat rather than curved screen, LG’s 55EF9500 OLED is the TV that videophiles have been waiting for. The 55-inch EF9500 delivers images with deep blacks and bright, eye-catching highlights, and picture quality remains consistent even at far off-center seats. The only thing that appears to need improvement is screen uniformity. The price is higher than some competitors, but OLED sets in general are more expensive than LCD models with the same screen size. The EF9500 also comes in a 65-inch version.
