VERDICT
A solid product. Despite some flaws, it's still a good value.

PROS

  • The flexibility of the G Flex 2 makes it more rugged than the average smartphone.
  • The 1080p high-definition screen is beautiful.
  • The design takes a break from the monotonous smartphone design nearly every manufacturer uses.

CONS

  • The camera offers better low-light performance than its predecessor, but it's not something to write home about.
  • Battery life is a disappointment and doesn't live up to expectations.
  • Despite having one of the fastest processors available at launch, performance is not the device's strong suit.
The LG G Flex 2 takes a unique approach to the traditional smartphone footprint. With it's curved display and frame, the phone is designed to follow the contour of your face. The G Flex 2 is no slouch on the spec sheet featuring a 5.5-inch HD screen, 13 MP camera, 3,000 mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor, and 32GB of internal storage.

Removing the default Smart Notice widget did wonders, but the issue still popped up whenever I had too many apps going at once; 2GB of RAM isn't always enough to keep this thing running smoothly all the time.

The G Flex 2’s screen is a beauty. It’s sharp, black levels really impress for watching films, and viewing angles are excellent.
