PROS

  • The M1 is attractively designed and looks like a classic watch.
  • Battery life on the M1 is good as long as you don't leave it connected to your phone all the time.
  • The build quality is impressive, and the premium materials make the M1 feel solid.

CONS

  • Bluetooth connection issues seem to plague the M1, requiring a watch reset to reconnect.
  • There's no app store, so the apps that are baked in are all you get.
  • The non-touch, low-resolution LCD screen is dim and hard to see in dark environments.
The M1 smartwatch by Meta has a stainless steel body and a 128 x 128 pixel monochrome LCD display. Three physical buttons line both the right and left sides of the body. The watch is water resistant up to 3 ATM, and the battery is rated for up to a week when not connected to your Android phone or iPhone over Bluetooth. The M1 comes with built-in apps, including weather, calendar, music, messenger, and timer. There are eight watch faces and a variety of bands to choose from.
