Soundstage S1 Wireless Speakerby Monster
PROS
- The Soundstage S1 speaker provides plenty of bass and treble for its size.
- The speaker connects with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and optical digital, and displays good compatibility with Spotify, Internet radio, and many digital file formats.
- Onboard controls let you control the audio from the speaker without having to open your app.
CONS
- The intense bass and treble make it difficult to listen long term, and the midrange is understated.
- High-resolution files are subject to dropouts or pauses.
- The setup and use of wireless and the Android/iOS app can be quirky.

In that regard, the Soundstage S1 is a quality speaker, with sound that really fills a room. While not perfect by any means, the Soundstage S1 has enough going for it that I would recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a multi-room audio system.
