Myfox Smart Home Security Systemby Myfox
PROS
- The vibration-detecting door and window sensors recognize the difference between a knock on the door and something more violent.
- The hardware looks good, and it's easy to set up.
- The 110-decibel siren is loud--maybe too loud.
CONS
- This is just a starter kit. If you want to monitor more than one door or window or want another person to have a key fob, that costs extra.
- The starter kit doesn't include the security camera, which costs another $200 and requires a monthly subscription fee to store its recordings.
- It's overpriced compared to competitors.

I found myself wanting to add to the system pretty much immediately and I liked the cleverness of the system – with the IntelliTAGs working very well and not giving me any accidental alarms or anything like that.
This product alone will only work if you want to protect one door/window and give access to one person.

It all comes with a hefty price tag, and unfortunately, the functionality doesn’t quite match up.

This system is a bit of a jumble. Its features are limited, its app is confusing and occasionally glitchy and it's very expensive.

The Wi-Fi bridge has limited range (328 feet if there are no obstacles in between), the siren is dependent on battery power (disposable batteries at that), and my installation experience lends me to question the company’s quality control.

The app is extremely feature-heavy and especially compared to other options on the market and so there is a ton of stuff you can do. However, it did feel as though there were too many features.
