PROS

  • The Orbit is waterproof, so you can wear it while swimming laps in the pool.
  • It can last up to a week on a single charge.
  • The straps are easy to put on and secure, unlike similar bands from competitors.

CONS

  • The Orbit's display is small and nearly impossible to read outdoors.
  • If you want to track activity and running, you need to use two different apps.
  • Syncing can only be done with the mobile apps. PC and Mac users need not apply here.
The Runtastic Orbit is an activity tracker that also tracks fitness and sleep. It can be worn with a clip or with one of the two included silicon wristbands. Additional wristbands are available for purchase in several colors. The Orbit is waterproof up to 300 feet and works with Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices via Bluetooth. Its battery lasts up to a week on a single charge. Although the Orbit includes a temperature and ambient light sensor, they’re currently not being used for any purpose.

It's bright enough indoors, but outdoors it's not only tiny, but so washed out as to be all but useless.
