KU6300 Seriesby Samsung
PROS
- Samsung's KU6300 Series sets are capable of displaying images with deep blacks and good contrast, making them a good choice for viewing movies in a darkened room.
- The KU6300 Series does a good job of upscaling lower resolution standard-definition cable and DVD images, making them look crisp on the Ultra High Definition screen.
- Low input lag on Samsung KU6300 Series sets makes them excellent options for competitive gaming.
CONS
- Although they are compatible with high dynamic range content, Samsung KU6300 Series sets aren't capable of displaying the extended color range that HDR formats provide.
- The KU6300 Series doesn't have a wide viewing angle, with color and contrast fading at off-center seats. Screen reflections from lamps and undraped windows occur with these sets.
- The lack of a local dimming LED backlight feature on Samsung's KU6300 Series limits its contrast and black depth capabilities with high dynamic range sources.

Picture detail and clarity were very good on the KU6300, revealing a sharp and crisp image with very good transparency and satisfying image depth. 4K upscaling of 1080p content was also very good, and was rendered with decent amounts of more perceived picture detail and image texture, resulting in an image that was very similar to native 4K content.
