PROS

  • The front-facing camera has optical image stabilization--which is crazy talk.
  • At just over $300, you get a lot of phone for your money.
  • For such a giant phone, this is a particularly narrow phone.

CONS

  • Battery life issues are common. It's a giant phone with a tiny battery.
  • No fingerprint sensor in 2016 is a bit depressing.
  • No water protection like the rest of the Xperia X line offers.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is the largest of the X lineup, with a 6-inch display. Instead of focusing on the rear camera, Sony added everything but the kitchen sink to the front-facing selfie camera. It has 3GB of memory, 16GB of storage and a microSD card slot that accepts up to 200GB. The battery is a paltry 2,700 milliamp-hours, which is rather small for a phone of this size.
