'Double Dare' Is Returning to Nickelodeon, and There Will Be Slime

Get ready for a nostalgic summer full of slime and pie tossing. After 25 years, Double Dare is making its grand return to Nickelodeon, and we're ready to take the physical challenge.

Hosted by digital creator and actress Liza Koshy, Double Dare's original host Marc Summers will be providing commentary over the competition. So, basically it'll be like we're back in the '90s, except we're older and probably have less fantasies about picking a giant nose.

The show will feature the same exciting format: trivia questions, messy physical challenges, the famous obstacle course, awesome prizes, and lots of slipping and sliding.

Here's a look at a full episode of the original show:

We have a feeling there's going to be a whole new generation of Double Dare fans.

"I can't think of many shows like Double Dare that have the ability to bond people together–those who grew up watching the original series can now pass along their love for this game show to today's kids," Summers said in a press release. It's an honor to be a part of this reboot."

The fun begins June 25th at 8:00 p.m on Nickelodeon. No word on whether or not Harvey will be returning, but we'll be crossing our fingers.
