You can change the number on your Virgin Mobile phone online or over the phone. If you use the company’s website, be aware that you can only change your number once every 24 hours. If you change your number online and then need to change it again before the 24-hour period has expired, you can do so by contacting a customer service representative over the phone. Be aware that once you change your number, you can't get your old number back.
Change Number Online
If you have Internet access, the quickest way to change your phone number is via the My Account page on Virgin Mobile's website. Start by visiting the My Account page and logging in to your account (link in Resources). Scroll to either the Settings & Preferences or Add Phone, Apps & More section. Click “Change Phone” on the navigation menu on the right side of the screen and follow the prompts to select a new number.
Change Number Over the Phone
If you don’t have Internet access or need to change your number more than once in a 24-hour period, your best bet is to contact the company directly over the phone and have a customer service representative change it for you manually. You can reach Virgin Mobile at 1-888-322-1122. Customer service agents are available Monday to Friday from 4 AM to 8 PM and from 4 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Hours are in Pacific Standard Time.
