The Hughes HRMC-15 remote control is designed for Direct TV satellite receivers; however, you can program the remote to your television or VCR (or all three). With some remotes, locating the manufacturer's code is required for programming. Fortunately, this is not an issue with the HRMC-15. The system has a code searching feature, allowing you to easily test multiple codes, until the correct code is recognized.
