How to Access Shoreware Director

The Shoreware Director is a web-based interface for managing your ShoreTel Voice-Over-IP telephone network. Shoreware Director allows you to access and change settings for voice mail boxes, view call records and configure automated phone systems from within any Web browser on your network. This system consolidates the management tools for your VOIP network into a single control interface, simplifying the task of managing your phone system. To access the Shoreware Director, you'll need the Shoreware server name or IP address.

Step 1

Launch your Web browser.

Step 2

Click to place your cursor in the address bar at the top of your browser window.

Step 3

Type "http://" in the address bar.

Step 4

Type your Shoreware server name or IP address into the address bar. An IP address is composed of four sets of digits separated by a period, with each number a value between "0" and "256" -- for example, "". If you don't know your Shoreware server name or IP address, contact your network administrator.

Step 5

Type "/ShorewareDirector" and press "Enter."

Step 6

Type your user name in the "User ID" text field. Then type your password in the "Password" text field. If you have never used Shoreware Director, you can log in using the default user name of "admin" and entering "changeme" as the password.

Step 7

Click the "Login" button to access the Shoreware Director interface.
