Many Panasonic television systems have an optical digital audio jack. This connection allows you to add additional surround-sound speakers to the TV, improving the audio quality of the set while increasing the overall volume you are able to produce. Because the optical digital audio cable is a single connection, the entire hookup process only takes a few minutes to complete.
