Samsung LCD flat panel TVs are designed to hang on your wall or sit on the supplied television stand. In order to use the television stand, you need to properly connect it to your television. Samsung LCD TVs may come with a stand that has a rectangular base or a stand with an oval base. The instructions for installing the base are different depending upon the type of stand supplied with your television.

Step 1

Place the base of the stand on a flat surface and place the guide stand on top of the square piece raised above the stand base. The raised part of the guide stand should face the back of the base, and the holes on the guide stand should line up with the holes on the raised square section of the base.
