Facebook can be used to promote your business and interact with co-workers, clients and suppliers, but Facebook is not a practical tool for every business, and for some it is a distraction in the workplace. You can deactivate your Facebook account via the Security page of your Account Settings screen. Deactivating your account deletes your Timeline and removes all information you have posted on Facebook.
Click the downward-facing account menu arrow in the top right corner of any Facebook page.
