When you first install Outlook, which is an email program that is part of the Microsoft Office package, your mail automatically gets delivered to a folder titled "Inbox." If you have email from more than one email address sent to the same Outlook account, you may wish to separate the messages by having them directed to different folders as soon as you receive them. This can help prevent inbox overload. One way to do that is to change your mail delivery locations for some of these accounts.

Things You'll Need
- Outlook software (2003 or later)
Sign into your Outlook account and wait until the main window appears, which is the one showing you all of your mail. Click on the word "Tools" in the main toolbar. It is near the top left. Choose "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Look at the Account Settings window that appears as a pop=up. The first tab on the left is the "Email" tab. Here you will see a list of all the email addresses linked to your Outlook account. Click on the first email address you would like to change the mail delivery location for.
Look at the bottom of the window. You will see the folder where the mail is currently delivered to for this account, which right now will be the inbox. Click the "Change Folder" button. A new window will come up titled "New E-mail Delivery Location." Look at this window now, but do not close the old one.
Peruse the list of folders available in the "Choose a Folder" list. If you don't see one you'd like to use, click on the "New Folder" button. Type in a folder name, which can be anything you like, and click "Okay." This name will now appear in the list.
Highlight the name of the folder where you want your mail to go. Then click "Okay." The window you were using will close and you'll return to the "Account Settings" window. Note that when you highlight the account the new destination folder's name should show up at the bottom of this window.
Repeat Steps 2 through 5 to change the mail delivery locations for your additional email addresses, as needed. Close the window when you're finished by clicking on "Close" at the bottom right.
Tips & Warnings
