The reasons are numerous why the picture on your LG LED TV may look a little off to you. But before you go out and buy a new TV or pay for a technician to come to your home, try adjusting the various color settings yourself first. Once you access the On-Screen Display menu with your remote control, you can increase or decrease the various settings, including tint, color and sharpness.
Press the "Home" button on your remote control. The On-Screen Display menu appears on your television.
Press the down arrow button on your remote control to navigate to the Picture setting menu. Then press the "Enter" button on your remote control. The Picture setting menu is located on the left side of the screen and looks like a television screen.
Navigate to "Picture Mode" in the main portion of the screen. Press the right arrow button to access the main portion of the screen, then the down arrow button to highlight Picture Mode.
Press the down arrow button to select a setting, such as Brightness, Contrast, Color or Tint. Press the left and right arrow buttons to adjust the levels of the settings.
Press the "Exit" button when you are finished adjusting the settings.
