How to Forward a Tracfone

Unlike most cellular carriers, TracFone only offers call forwarding on certain handsets, and the option must be enabled through the handset menu. TracFone users with Nokia or Motorola handsets can forward their calls to another number. When the call comes in, instead of ringing the phone, the call can be forwarded to voicemail, or a number the user has pre-selected.

Step 1

Press the "Menu" key to enter the main menu.

Scroll to "Settings" and click the "OK" button.

Scroll to "Call Settings" and click "OK."

Step 4

Select "Call Forwarding" and click "OK."

Step 5

Enable the call forwarding option that you want. "Forward if busy" forwards the calls when the line is in use. "Forward all voice calls" forwards all the calls.

Step 1

Click the "Menu" key to open the main menu.

Scroll to "Settings" and click "OK."

Select "Call forward" and click "OK."

Step 4

Select "Voice," "Fax," or "Data" calls to enable call forwarding for that type of call.
