- Satellite meter
Screw the wood or cement screws into the pre-drilled holes at the base of the tri-mast mount for the satellite antenna to mount it into position. The location for mounting may vary depending on the location of a suitable line-of-sight available. The antenna may be mounted on an outdoor wall or a roof.
Plug the dual RG6 coaxial cable into the cable port at the base of the lateral arm on the satellite antenna. Plug the other end of the cable into the "Antenna" port in the back of the Xplornet satellite modem.
Plug the satellite meter cable into the "Signal" port at the base of the lateral arm on the satellite antenna. The satellite meter is used to locate the proper satellite and allow you to align the antenna appropriately for the best signal strength.
Align the satellite antenna by by loosening the adjustment screws on the dish and adjusting the antenna dish, moving it left to right, and up and down until the satellite strength increases on the satellite meter. Once the appropriate signal strength is located, tighten the adjustment screws to hold the dish into place.
