Voice mail is a program on your cell phone that allows callers to leave messages. When you accidentally delete an important voice mail, it can be retrieved.
Press the power button on the phone. Navigate to the voice mail icon or hold the number "1" until it dials your voice mail service.
Press "1" again to retrieve your new messages. Listen to all messages.
Save the messages that you would like to keep by pressing "9." Press "7" to delete unwanted messages after they have been played.
Listen to the end of the messages to retrieve accidentally deleted messages. Listen for the automated service to say, "Check erased messages." Follow the prompts to press "1" and "9." Listen for the deleted message and press "9" to save the message.
These steps will only work if you have deleted the message before hanging up; it will not work on previously deleted messages.
