How to Save a Picture on the MacBook

Finding the way around your new MacBook can be a task, especially for those who have spent years using the Windows operating system. Luckily, the process is simple and relatively the same. Right-click on the picture you want to save to open a drop-down menu with number of options you can perform on the photo.


Step 1

Navigate to the website containing the picture you want to save.

Step 2

Move your track pad arrow so that it is resting on the picture.

Step 3

Press and hold the "Control" key on your keyboard, then click the picture. A drop-down menu will appear. Release the "Control" key.

Step 4

Select "Save Image As..." from the drop-down menu. The Save Image dialogue will open. Rename the picture in the "Save As" field. Choose where you want to save the picture to in the "Where" field.

Step 5

Click the "Save" button.
