Check the "My Server Requires Authentication" box.

Step 7

Notice the button that is highlighted when you select the "My Server Requires Authentication" button. It should be labeled "Settings." Click on this button.

Step 8

To make Verizon email work with Outlook, Verizon once required users to include their Verizon email address in the "Email Address" field of the "Personal Settings" option of the "Settings" menu. Though Verizon officially no longer requires users to do this, if you've done everything right and your Verizon email isn't working in Outlook, completing this step should solve the problem.
