The use of a DirecTV receiver with a built-in DVR gives you the luxury to search for channels and record them all in one box. There are several recording options with a DirecTV DVR, including setting your DVR to record a program at a later date or having the DVR record your favorite program every time it comes on. If you have a program recording and need to stop the recording for any reason, it's an easy process.
