Apple's iTunes software is used to move music, apps, and other data to your iPhone, but it can also back up information from the iPhone to the computer. Synchronizing your iPhone with your computer ensures that your information won't be lost even if something happens to your phone. You can set iTunes to synchronize notes written in the iPhone's built-in Notes application with Microsoft Outlook.
Connect your data cable to the dock connector on the bottom of your iPhone and a USB port on your computer. Launch iTunes on your computer if it doesn't automatically open.
Click your iPhone in the "Devices" list on the left side of the iTunes window.
Click the "Info" tab to select what type of information you want to synchronize with your iPhone.
Check the "Sync Notes with Outlook" checkbox.
Click the "Apply" button to copy your notes to your computer.
