How to Unhide Folders and Files on XP

The Windows XP operating system and all versions of the Windows operating systems since Windows 95 hide system folders and preferences that users rarely would seek. However, there are times when users need to delete preferences in these hidden folders or configure a program using files that are hidden. A setting in the operating system allows users to make hidden files and folders visible.
