You can use symbols to decorate your Facebook profile.

Many social networking sites, such as MySpace, allow you to customize your profile with music, videos, pictures and decorative backgrounds. Facebook profiles are not set up to be customized in this way; pictures are limited and you can't change the colors of the basic Facebook page, alter your background or add music. You can get around this by selecting a striking profile picture and using text generators or ASCII art. You can also install Facebook applications designed to add button graphics and other embellishments to your profile page.

Select the piece of art you want to use by left-clicking near the top and moving the mouse to the bottom while holding the left button down. The image should be highlighted. Move the mouse pointer somewhere inside the image, right-click and select Copy from the Edit menu or press "Ctrl-C."
