If you have a basic photo editing program on your computer, you can crop a photo and make any size picture you want. Making 2 x 3 pictures just involves opening photos in your photo editing program and cropping the images to the right size. One of the most commonly used photo editors is Adobe Photoshop. But a word processor such as Microsoft Word will do the trick, too. Follow these steps to crop pictures to 2 x 3 using both programs.
Using Adobe Photoshop
Open Adobe Photoshop on your computer. Click "File" then "Open."
Select the photo you want to open.
Click the "Crop" tool. In the "Crop" toolbar at the top of your screen, enter "2 in" and "3 in" in the width and height boxes. This will restrict your cropping to 2 x 3 inches.
Drag your mouse over the picture to crop it however you like. You can select as much of the photo as you want or select a small portion of the photo. Press "Enter" to accept the crop.
Click "Save As" under the "File" menu to save the photo. Repeat these steps for more pictures.
Using Microsoft Word
Open a blank document in Microsoft Word.
Click the "Insert" tab. Click "Picture" under the "Illustrations" group. Select the picture you want to insert then click "Insert."
Right-click the photo. Click "Size." Uncheck "Lock Aspect Ratio" and "Relative to Original Picture Size." Enter "2" and "3" in the height and width boxes. Click "OK."
Repeat these steps to insert more 2 x 3 pictures into the word document.
