While surfing the Internet, you might need to have multiple browser windows open to properly review the information on several websites. If you own an Apple computer, you can use the Safari Web browser to open multiple windows at the same time. However, maximizing and minimizing each window to switch between them is time consuming. You can use Mac OS X shortcut keys to toggle between multiple Safari windows.
Launch the Safari Web browser, then click "File" from the main menu bar.
Select "New Window" from the drop-down list. A new Safari window opens. Alternatively, you can open a new browser window by selecting "New Tab" from the "File" menu. Repeat the process to open as many new windows as you need.
Press the "Command" key and hold it.
Press the "Tab" key while holding the "Command" key to toggle between the open Safari browser windows.
