Apex high-definition televisions are equipped with HDMI inputs that allows them to connect with other HDMI devices like game consoles, DVR boxes and Blu-ray players. In order to use the HDMI inputs, you must use the menu on your TV to select the HDMI inputs. If you are having problems with your Apex TV's HDMI inputs, there several things you can do before you take into a repair shop. Press the "Menu" button on your remote and then choose the "Video Settings" option from the menu that appears on the screen. Click on your "HDMI" input to use the HDMI ports on the TV.

Check The HDMI Input Number

Apex TVs comes with several HDMI inputs. Make sure that your HDMI cable is plugged into the right input on your Apex TV. Go to the "Input" button on the side of your TV and choose the input accordingly.

Make sure that your input device has an HDMI output installed on it. The HDMI output will be labeled "HDMI Out" on the port. Check the HDMI cable to make sure that it is connected properly.

Picture Quality

Choose the picture quality standard on your Apex TV by going to the "Video Settings" option in the menu and then choosing the "Resolution" icon. Choose the "1080" setting for the maximum picture quality available.
