Buy a cell phone signal jamming device from eBay, Amazon or any online spy and gadget site. These devices will block signals anywhere from 10 to 200 feet, depending on the model that you decide to purchase.

Turning It On

When you turn on the device, it will block out signals at the frequency that cell phones generally broadcast. This will show up on the other person's phone as a low signal, and he will have no idea that he is being jammed. The devices come with a rechargeable battery and can usually be used for up to two hours. Most of them also come with car adapters.

Use It Sparingly

Be careful of where you use these. Using a cell phone jammer in places like movie theaters and restaurants is probably OK. But having them turned on when you're near the scene of an accident could prevent someone from calling for help. Also, if you use them in a hospital, it could interfere with equipment. Different states have different laws regarding the use of these devices, and generally the stronger cell phone jammers can be sold only to government agencies.
