How Do I Get to the Motorola Modem's UPnP?

By Mike Benson

Universal Plug and Play, or UPnP, is a networking service that allows discovery of devices, computers and services running on a network. By default, UPnP is disabled on most Motorola modems. The option to enable or disable UPnP is usually found on Motorola modems that also serve as gateway devices. While the UPnP setting for all modems is similar, there are differences when it comes to accessing and navigating the interface. Access the UPnP settings from within the Motorola modem’s interface using your Web browser.
