The Bose 3-2-1 home entertainment package is a two-speaker system designed for use in smaller or medium-sized rooms. The DVD and CD player is also equipped with an HDMI output jack, which allows users to plug the Bose system into a television. If the television does not offer HDMI support, the Bose can also connect using standard Composite video capabilities.

Step 1

Plug one end of an HDMI cord into the empty HDMI jack on the TV.

Step 2

Plug the other end of the HDMI cord into the Bose media center unit's empty HDMI jack. Insert the plug so the Bose logo is facing up.

Step 3

Use a standard RCA Composite (yellow) video cable to connect the Bose unit if there are no HDMI jacks on the TV. Plug one end of the Composite video cord into the TV's "Video Input" jack, which should be colored yellow.

Step 4

Plug the other end of the Composite video connector cord into the "Video Output" jack on back of the Bose media center unit.
